Carl A. Lamping Obituary
In loving memory of Carl A. Lamping (Batesville, Indiana), who departed this world on January 17, 2025 at the age of 83. Carl leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Lamping and Marie Lamping (Bedel); his wife Donna Lamping (Black) of Mary's Catholic Church; his siblings, Joseph, Jerry, Alphonse, Francis Lamping, Angela Demoret, Rose Mary Brancamp-Nobbe and Bernadette Harpring; and his granddaughter Suprena.
He is survived by: his children, Barb Richardson (Paul) of Milan, Karla Schumacher (Gary) of Elizabethtown, Don Lamping (Beth) of Greensburg and Ron Lamping of Oldenburg; his siblings, Augie Lamping (Bernice) of Hamburg, IN, Cletus Lamping (Betty) of Batesville, John Lamping (Carol) of Oldenburg and Irene Meyer (Buck) of Batesville; and his grandchildren, Paul Jr., Tyler, Trevor, Dillon, Evan, Dallas, Brittany, Matthew, Hannah, Eric, Jonathan, Benjamin, Michael and Clayton. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Weigel Funeral Home (151 W George St, Batesville, IN 47006). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Catherine of Sienna Catholic Church (1963 N St John St, Greensburg, IN 47240).
