He was predeceased by: his parents, Arville T. Baker and Margie Baker (King); his siblings, Robert Baker, James Baker and Janie Baker; and his siblings-in-law, Oren Demaree and Rosie Baker.

He is survived by: his wife Wanda E. Baker (Haltom) of Bargersville, IN; his children, Jeff Baker (Beverly Stout) of Martinsville, IN and Cindy Baker (Matt O'Dell); his grandchildren, Joshua Baker of Tennessee and Megan Ann Heady (Cole) of Muncie, IN; his sister Joann Demaree of Franklin, IN; his sister-in-law Doris Baker of Greenwood, IN; and his pet Heidi.
