He was predeceased by: his father Charles Johnson; his wife Beverly Johnson; his brothers, Bill Johnson and Bob Johnson; and his son Nicholas Johnson.
He is survived by: his children, Ernest Johnson (Kelly), Richy Johnson (Terrieny), Bianca Stinson (Eli) and JoAnn Emmert (Craig); his stepchildren, William Todd Sublette, Tracy Sublette and Terri Poe; and his sister Laura Payne. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
