We are sad to announce that on April 21, 2023, at the age of 73, Rex Neal Russell of Bargersville, Indiana, born in Franklin, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Alex Russell Jr. and Marian Grace Russell (Vandivier). He is survived by: his wife Patty Ann Russell (Boehle) of Bargersville, IN; his daughters, Amber N. Russell of Greenwood, IN and Allison M. Crouch (Jason) of Greenwood, IN; his grandchildren, Dagney Crouch, Alba Crouch and Midas Crouch; and his siblings, Mary Catherine "Cay" Long (Norman Long) of West Lafayette, IN, William Russell of Indianapolis, IN, Steve Russell (Sally) and Jack Russell of Bargersville, IN..

“After high school we became seperated by different paths. His the military and mine college. Although we corresponded by mail often we eventually lost touch which I have often regretted over the years. Needless to say I am sorry for the loss to your family. Be assured that a prayer and and candle will be sent above to remember his spirit at my next church visit. May Gods grace and love be with you to help you thru these times of grief and assure that there is a better after.”

“Russell family: Rex and I were good friends thru high school. As I had just moved to the community my sophmore year he made me feel very comfortable and helped me adjust to Center Grove High School. We were both on the football team and shared many Friday nights on the field.. We double dated often and had a lot of good memories in his parents green station wagon which we nicknamed the "grasshopper". In those days the things to do on Friday and Saturday evenings was cruising in your auto.”
