It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lorene Baker Sloop of Bargersville, Indiana, who passed away on September 2, 2022, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband OJ Sloop, Jr.; her father Custer Baker; her birth mother Mildred Eccles Baker; and her mother Jessie Bartley Baker. She is survived by: her son Keaney Sloop (Susan) of Greenwood; her grandchildren, Kyle Sloop (Melissa) of Greenwood, Kea Toothaker (Brady) of Longmont and Kurt Sloop (Jennifer) of Washington, DC; her great grandchildren, Cole, Carly, Kendall Toothaker, Ella Jean and Audrey Sloop; her siblings, John Baker (Marilyn), Stephen Jesse Baker (Kay), Lloyd, Sherman V, Noel, Tim Baker, Mary Lynn Yates and Ramona Carter; her sister-in-law Marilyn; her great grandchild Kye; her family Lorene; and her friend Ester Moore (Wilson) of Marco Island, FL. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
