She was predeceased by: her parents, James Harrison Crowe and Clara Marie Crowe (Boone); her husband David Lee Howe; her sister Elva June Barker; her stepsister Mauna J. Adams; and her niece Sherry L. Barker.

She is survived by: her stepmother Beulah Crowe of Lebanon, IN; her son James D. Howe (Callie) of Kokomo, IN; her stepsiblings, Brenda Martin (John) of Lebanon, IN, Beverly Straight of Pennsylvania and Junior Crowe of Lexington, KY; her grandchildren, Corbyn Bergin and Liam Black; her nephew Robert Barker (Lisa Cooksey) of Bargersville, IN; and her niece Shelly Barker of Indianapolis, IN..
