He was predeceased by: his parents, George Ray and Mae Hoagland (Bucher); and his brother Ralph Blue. He is survived by: his wife Louise Hoagland (Dunker); his children, Mary Carter (Rodney), Martha Forrest, Violet Thomas (Danny) and George Hoagland (Theresa); and his sisters, Emma Perkins, Betty Bruner and Mary Jackson. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
