He was predeceased by: his parents, Owen W. Higgins and Florence E. Higgins (Shoffner); and his son John Higgins. He is survived by: his wife Betty J. Higgins; his sons, Dennis Higgins (Patricia), Tim Higgins, Steve Higgins and David Higgins (Jo); and his siblings, Joyce Penrod, Barbara Gibson, Sue Higgins, Betty Wielhamer, Lynda Barber, Jackie Falconberry, Christine Mason, Pam Rutheford and Jim Higgins. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Servies & Morgan Funeral Home - Roachdale (102 E Washington St, Roachdale, IN 46172). A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Baptist International Evangelist Missions 121 Commerce Dr. #50 Danville, IN 46122.
