She was predeceased by: her parents, Marlie B. Hindman and Edna Ruth Hindman (Carlew); her husband William "Bill" Whitmer; her siblings, Jerry Hindman and June Hindman; her stepsister Vanessa Moyer; her grandson Steven Overbay; and her son-in-law Chuck Overbay.
She is survived by: her children, Daniel (Donna Whitmer), Dennis Whitmer and Dawn Overbay; her siblings, Mary Hammer, Barbara Hindman and Rodney Hindman; her stepbrother Bart Stewart; and her brother-in-law Ted Whitmer. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren.
