Karen Pauline Welty Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Karen Pauline Welty of Bainbridge, Indiana, born in Greencastle, Indiana, who passed away on November 7, 2022, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Bruce and Maude Minnie Sims (Ellis); her former husband William Welty; and her siblings, Phillip Sims and Rebecca Sims.

She is survived by: her husband Thomas Herbert; her children, Jeff Welty (Yvonne), Vicky Greene (Harold) and Kent Welty (Sandy); her brothers, Michael Sims (Terry) and Doug Sims (Julia); and her grandchildren, Matthew Welty (Melissa), Alison Briles (Jeremy), Michelle Williams (Matthew), Tyler Welty (Sara), Cory Welty (Ronica) and Nathan Welty (Grace). She is also survived by six great grandchildren; and six step children.
