He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Beck and Josephine Beck (Walters); his wife Lana Beck; his sons, Edwin E. "Eddie" Beck and Mitchell "Mitch" Beck; and his sister Phyllis Sutherlin.

He is survived by: his daughter Beth Pinney (Mark); his siblings, Marge Terrell and Gene Beck (Alice); his grandchildren, Ashlee, Carly, Ben Maggie, Joslyn and Iris; and his great grandchild Addy. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
