He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Dean Poynter; his children, Brian (Dana), Bruce (Annette), Anita McGaughey (David) and Brent (Kimberly); and his grandchildren, Nathan (Mikki), Nicholas (Natalie), Nicole Fowler (AJ Jones), Amy (Bryan Mier), Angela (Nick Brewer), Auna McGaughey, Casey (Briley Worthington), Ciera Fowler (Jace Lynch), Chandler and MacKenzie Fowler (Holton Hufstedler).
