He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Fowler and Hallie Fowler; his sister Jo Anne Wilson; and his granddaughter Amber McGaughey. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Dean Poynter; his children, Brian (Dana), Bruce (Annette), Anita McGaughey (David) and Brent (Kimberly); and his grandchildren, Nathan (Mikki), Nicholas (Natalie), Nicole Fowler (AJ Jones), Amy (Bryan Mier), Angela (Nick Brewer), Auna McGaughey, Casey (Briley Worthington), Ciera Fowler (Jace Lynch), Chandler and MacKenzie Fowler (Holton Hufstedler).
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 19th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Brick Chapel United Methodist Church (3547 N US Hwy 231, Greencastle, IN 46135). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 19th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
