She was predeceased by: her father John T. Newhart; and her daughter Anita Lynn Helton. She is survived by: her husband Tom Helton; her children, Brad Helton of Bainbridge and Cara Peterson (Tony) of Danville; and her sister Rebecca Kincade (Jerry) of Winterset, Iowa.. She is also survived by 4 granddaughters, nieces, nephews, and extended family.
