Compton of Avon, Indiana, born in Louisville, Kentucky, who passed away on January 24, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Sr. Compton and Pauline Compton (Smith); and his brothers, Donnie and Kenneth Compton. He is survived by: his wife Carol; his children, Andrea Stevens (Bill), Angela Compton, Todd Compton (Rhonda), Mandy Soto (Danny) and Megan Compton; and his sister Virginia. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in his name may be made to the First Baptist Church in Plainfield.
