He is survived by: his wife Pat Smith (Wynne); his son Brian Mitchell; his grandsons, Conrad, Ulric, Elijah and Aaron Mitchell; his brother Gerry Smith (Darlene); and his nephews, Jeff, Ron and Jason Smith.
