We are sad to announce that on March 29, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Thomas Melvin Burks of Avon, Indiana, born in New Albany, Indiana. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Carrie Burks (Hedgepeth) and Wash Burks; and his brother Dewey Burks. He is survived by: his wife Eleanor Burks of Avon; his daughters, Lisa Ramey (John) of Avon, Lori Harding (Chris) of Avon and Lynn Halfaker (Steve) of Danville; his grandchildren, Adam Ramey, Lauren Stevenson (Tony), Chad Harding (Arika), Caselyn Schmidt (Trevor), Scott Halfaker and Ellen Halfaker; and his siblings, Juanita, Glenn and William. He is also survived by 4 great grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to Sheltering Wings or Sycamore Services.
