He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, George Wihren and Leona Wihren; his wife Rose Vereen; his children, Robin Lynn Vereen, Stacy Lee Griffin (Richard) and Kim Ann Cole (Kenneth); and his grandchildren, Casey Cole and Carly Cole.
