He is survived by: his wife Jean Williams Mathis; his children, Scott Mathis and Lori Oxley (Bob); his stepson William Throckmorton; his siblings, Kathie Sager, Pam Lewis (Steve), Carol Crider (Mike), Patty Wilson, Karen Sward (David) and Chris Mathis (Martha); and his grandchildren, Joshua and Jessica Ballenger.
