“Dick Stansbury was one of my best friends. Now, he is gone, and I am sad for Linda and his family and also for myself, as sadly, in recent years, I did nothing to retain our friendship. I wish I had. We played football together for AHS. We climbed the Mt. Prospect water tower together on Halloween night in 1958 and painted the word "Polluted" for all to see. Best of all, we spent countless hours just talking. The best of times. The best of pals. Rest in peace my friend. John Torrens”
