It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rex D. McClain of Avon, Indiana, who passed away on November 27, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Rex D. McClain to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Adrian P. McClain and Mary L. McClain (Dooley); his sister Nancy Ann Munn; and his son-in-law Jeff Hershberger. He is survived by: his wife Kay; his daughters, Mitzi Griffith (Todd) of Avon and Julie Hershberger of Avon; his grandchildren, Morgan, David (Taylor), Alex Griffith, Jordan and Adriana Hershberger; his great grandchild Zane Hershberger; and his sister Linda McClain of Indianapolis.

Contributions may be given to Bartlett Chapel United Methodist Church, the Avon-Washington Township Library, or to one's favorite charity in memory of Rex.
