She was predeceased by: her parents, Milford Richard Davies and Flossie Glen Swaim Davies; her husband Dale Welsey Barnes; and her siblings, Martha Jean Hartman, Robert Lee Davies and Roger DeBaun Davies.
She is survived by: her children, Mark D. Barnes (Karen) of Bloomingdale and Durree Barnes of Avon; her grandsons, Dr. Wes Barnes (Danielle) of Birmingham and Neal Barnes (Noelle) of Fishers; her stepgrandchildren, Danika Craycraft (Brad) of Bloomingdale and Bryan Jones (Mackenzie) of Ferndale; her great grandchildren, Evelyn, Emmie, Owen and Canon; and her nieces and nephews, Steve Hartman (Hazel), Cynthia Hartman Jones, Rodger Davies, Melinda Mace (Greg) and Ross Davies (Beth). She is also survived by six step great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Gooch Funeral Home (112 W Howard St, Rockville, IN 47872). A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials should friends so desire, may be made to the charity of choice or the Parke-Vermillion Humane Society, PO Box 293, Newport, IN 47933 in her memory.
