It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leon K. Nevins of Avon, Indiana, who passed away on February 26, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Luke D. Sue and Willie Sue; his brother Lendall; and his grandsons, Aaron and Luke.

He is survived by: his wife Prilla Earlene; his children, Anna Nevins, Laura Thomas, Betty Harris (Steve) and Leon II (Elizabeth); his grandchildren, Travis, Joshua (Chelsey), Andrew (Niki), Dustin, Rachel (Logan), Stephen (Cami), Savannah (Henry), Emma, Emilee, Ryann, Alexandria, Zoe and Karmyn; and his great grandchildren, Ethan, Malachi, Eli, Emmie, Haddie, Lauren, Guy and Sadie. He is also survived by other nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation or the Indiana Down Syndrome Foundation.
