He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Overton and Helen Jean Battershell (Schuch). He is survived by: his sons, Issac, Isaac Battershell of Brownsburg and Carson Battershell (Tiffany) of Land; his grandchildren, Colin of Land and Juliette Battershell of Land; and his brother Richard L. "Ric" Battershell (Marcia) of Danville.
