As we bid Karen Kay farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Karen Kay is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her son William Wade Thomas; her grandson Andrew Wade Thomas; and her parents, Wade Byrd and Dorothy Byrd. She is survived by: her husband Robert Westfall; and her children, Brian Andrew Thomas (Trish), Angie Lewis (Dave) and Becky Pierpont (Eddie). She is also survived by many grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Matthews Mortuary (690 E 56th St, Brownsburg, IN 46112). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
