He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Lach and Dorothy Flansburg Lach; and his sister Leah Jemison. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Lach (Harrison); his sons, Perry (Melissa) and David Lach (Julie); his grandchildren, Conner, Hannah, Halle and Harper Lach; and his siblings, Thomas Lach, Marjory Jafari and Katheryn Martin.
