He was predeceased by: his parents, John Fischer and Eleanor Fischer Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Peggy Forbes Fischer; his children, Mike and Rachel Fischer; his brothers, Bob and Jim Fischer (Debbie); his sisters-in-law, Gail Forbes and Janet Stragand; his nieces and nephews, Kim Fischer, Craig Fischer, Jacquelynn Schwind (Anthony), Scott Fischer, Tiffany Mulholland (Kevin), Kelly Berus (Matt) and Jenna Stragand; his friend Linda Ludvick; and his pet Kevin.

Contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
