He was predeceased by: his wife Sheila Mears; and his grandson Stephan. He is survived by: his sisters, Mary Jean and Beverly; and his children, Matt, Michael, Gregory, John, Marie, Roger, Paula (Zita) and Keith. He is also survived by 18 Grandchildren and 15 Great Grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 21st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:30 PM and on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A rosary was held on Monday, April 21st 2025 from 7:30 PM to 8:00 PM at the Stevens Mortuary (5520 W 10th St, Indianapolis, IN 46224). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Christopher's Catholic Church (5301 W 16th St, Indianapolis, IN 46224).
