It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Lee Barber of Avon, Indiana, who passed away on October 29, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Fern Harrison (Buchanan) and Merlin Harrison; and her brother Dale Harrison. She is survived by: her husband Max Barber of Avon; her sons, Christopher Allen Barber of Fort Wayne, David Jeffrey Barber of Mooresville and Matthew Aaron Barber of Greencastle; and her brothers, John and James "Jack". She is also survived by 9 grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren.
