He was predeceased by: his grandfathers, Bob Auer, Wallace Kenney and Bob Knoll. He is survived by: his parents, Eric Schafer and Pam Schafer (Kenney) of Avon; his siblings, Justin Schafer of Lafayette, Indiana and Hannah Schafer of West Lafayette, Indiana.; his grandparents, Harlen, Nancy Frank of Sauk Rapids, Minnesota, Mary Cesnik of Sandy Springs, Georgia, Dan, Karen Schafer of Mora, Minnesota and Sharon Knoll of Mora, Minnesota.; and his godparent Kelly Wilbur of Blaine. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

In place of flowers, please consider donating in Evan's memory to the Kentuckiana Pug Rescue, where Evan's beloved Lucy originated.
