He was predeceased by: his parents, Marcus Racer and Helen Racer (Meranda). He is survived by: his wife Nancy A. Racer (Syester); his children, Dennis E. Racer, Cynthia A. Thompson (Gary) and Deborah Racer Smith (Stover); his brother Robert Racer (Marcia); and his grandchildren, Jason Thompson (Amy), Matthew Thompson (Jamie), Christopher Thompson (Angela), Allison Bailey (Courtney) and Adam Smith. He is also survived by 9 great grandchildren.
