We are sad to announce that on February 9, 2022, at the age of 60, Douglas Parkhurst of Avon, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Deborah Barton-Parkhurst; and his parents, Vincent Parkhurst and Eva Parkhurst. He is survived by: his children, Amber Barnes (Nic), Candice Van Doel (Rick), Courtney Spence (Danny), Tifanee Lasley (Patrick), Jonathan Rigney (Samantha) and Bethany Hodges (Paul); his siblings, Vincent Parkhurst (Kathy), Donna Sellars (Brad), Heidi Ryner-Parkhurst (Doug) and Charlie Parkhurst (Elizabeth); his parents-in-law, Dawn Badger (Randy), Darlene Crain (Paul) and Jimmy Barton (Paula); and his grandchildren, Vaida, Cohen, Thea, Dougie, Indy, Piper, Natalie Cameron, Billy, Alleah, Tyler, Riley and Hodge. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to the American Diabetes Association in memory of our beloved father, Peepaw, brother, son, and Chief.
