With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donald Pell of Avon, Indiana, born in Indianapolis, Indiana, who passed away on December 4, 2020 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clydia Geraldine (Blacketer) and Clarence Marion Craven Pell; his wife Patricia Ilene Pell (Henderson); his siblings, Robert Allen Pell, William Kenneth Pell and Viola Jane Pell; his daughter-in-law Frances Margaret Pell (Acosta); and his siblings-in-law, Kathryn L. Pell (Stephenson), Wilbur "Red" M. Daringer, Thomas Martin and James Martin.
He is survived by: his significant other Elizabeth; his children, Daniel Pell, Joseph Pell, John Pell (Charlotte), Jeanne Franklin (Bruce), Mary Abernathy (Greg) and Geraldine Pell; his grandchildren, Matthew Pell, Megan Pell, Elizabeth "Libby" Pell, Morgan Abernathy, Alexander Pell, Nicholas Pell, Leslie Pell and Olivia Pell; his sister Florence Daringer; and his sisters-in-law, Sharon Pell and Alice Martin. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you celebrate Don's life by telling the ones you love how much they mean to you. Memorial contributions may be made to the Kindred Hospice or Mary Queen of Peace Catholic Church.
