It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Danny Joe Blackwell of Avon, Indiana, born in Monroe, Indiana, who passed away on June 10, 2023, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Herchel Blackwell and Lois Blackwell; his former wife Barbara Blackwell; his daughter Kainoa Rosa (Johns); and his brothers, Ronald Dean Blackwell, Billy Herchel Blackwell and Denny Blackwell.
He is survived by: his wife Debbie Blackwell of Avon; his children, Shelly Marie Brooking (Bill), Clifford Kalani Johns, Sonny Johns (Julie), Tania Valiau (Se'e) and Isaiah Blackwell; and his sister Patricia "Pat" Deprew. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
