He is survived by: his wife Rhonda; his stepchildren, Lisa Bookwalter-Turner (Clem), Joseph Bookwalter, Samuel Bookwalter (Matt), Chelsea Meldrum (Chris) and Seth Meldrum; his grandchildren, Jacob, Lane, Henry, Molly, Charles and Bodhi; his brothers, Dr. John William Bookwalter III (Donna), Timothy Bookwalter (Tami) and Dr. Matthew Bookwalter; and also Connie Bookwalter. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and close friends.
