It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lois F Remke of Avilla, Indiana, who passed away on December 16, 2022, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband James T. Remke; her parents, Howard Traxler and Frances Traxler (Lemper); her siblings, Vincent Traxler, Omer Traxler, Richard Traxler, Jack Traxler and Eulalia Ellert; and her grandson Chad Thomas Holliday.
She is survived by: her children, James Remke (Debbie Helmig), Thomas Remke (Cindy), Ronald Remke (Kathy), Roxann Holliday (Clark), Stephen Remke (Melissa) and Bryan Remke (Carolyn); and her siblings, Harold Traxler, Thelma Buchs and Lorraine Weaver. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
