It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lillian Duehmig of Avilla, Indiana, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on March 3, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Sharpe and Agnes Sharpe (Tariske); her husband Sam; and her sister Marian Christman. She is survived by: her children, Marjorie (Jeremy Newson), Eileen (Chris Hamilton) and Charles "Chuck" (Amy Duehmig); her grandchildren, Rowena Newson of England, Noah Hamilton, Emily Weber of Orlando, Florida, Reagan Hamilton, Sandy Curry of Muncie, Jordan, Jillian Duehmig of Kendallville, Chelsea Farlow and Henry Hasse of Walkerville, Michigan.; and her great grandchildren, Jhalil, Connor, Cooper, Colton, Corbin and Amelia.
She was also a school bus driver and volunteered for RSVP.
