It is with great sadness that we announce the death of June J. Ballentine of Avilla, Indiana, born in Wauseon, Ohio, who passed away on March 25, 2021, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Sydney Floyd and Bertha Gladys Shipman (Apple); her former husband Carl Grove; her husband Frank Ballentine; and her siblings, Vernon Shipman, Arvin Shipman, Alva Shipman, Ruth Schoonover, Marge Clark, Sidney Shipman, Dorothy Elton, Don Shipman, Betty Hazlett, Marvin Shipman and Phyllis Mock.
She is survived by: her son Carl; her daughter-in-law Diane Grove of Rome City, Indiana; her daughter Jane Esther; her son-in-law Dale McQuillan of Delta, Ohio; and her siblings, Phil Shipman of Delta, Ohio and Freida Morgan of Hastings, Michigan.. She is also survived by five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; five great great-grandchildren.
