With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elberetta Gevella Souther of Avilla, Indiana, who passed away on April 6, 2025 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Elberetta shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Elberetta farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Elbert Williams and Annetta Williams (Jefferies); and her siblings, Scott Williams and Ramona Jones. She is survived by: her husband John Souther; her daughters, Gevella Wilt of West Elkton and Ali Souther-Hutchinson (Bryan) of Corpus Cristi, Texas; her siblings, Lyle Williams of Florida and Heather Heeter (Don) of Indiana; and her grandchildren, Taylar Souther (Chelsea), Dwight Wilt, Kylee Hutchinson, Liam Hutchinson and Connor Hutchinson.
