He is survived by: his spouse Catherine Cox; his son Robert Childers of Leo; his grandchildren, Kendra Anderson of Ann Arbor, Jodi Helmer, Dave Helmer of Waterloo, Jamey Walker, Jeremy Walker of Kendallvile, Brian Childers, Janel Childers of Avilla and Samantha Lynch of Bella Vista; his brother Oscar Childers of Willard; his great grandchildren, Corey Kiser, Lucas Childers, Noah Childers, Nate Anderson and Charlie Anderson; and also, Kathy Childers of Leo and Edna Childers of Willard. He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
