Dave Schermerhorn Obituary

We are sad to announce that on November 3, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Dave Schermerhorn of Avilla, Indiana, born in Kendallville, Indiana. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John H. Schermerhorn and Mary Amelia Schermerhorn (Gilbert); and his great grandchild Alivea Lynne Kurtz. He is survived by: his wife Sue Ann Frances; and his children, Suzi (Dan March), Shari (Steve Bittles), David (Stacey Schermerhorn), Sandi (Todd Fortman), Jill Schermerhorn (Bruce Fuhrer), John (Rhonda Schermerhorn) and Jeff (Jenny Schermerhorn).

Visitation was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hite Funeral Home (403 S Main St, Kendallville, IN 46755). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

Memorial donations may be made to Riley Hospital for Children.
