Bertha Carmicheal Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bertha Carmicheal of Avilla, Indiana, who passed away on November 11, 2020 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Otis Fultz and Ida Fultz (Stevens); and her sisters, Faye Lands, Hildreth Sweeny, Scharlotte Johnson and Gaythel White.

She is survived by: her husband William Cletus Carmicheal (Clet); her children, Janet Barnhart (Bill), Judy Flowers, Ruth Withrow (Bud), Gary "Rick" Carmicheal (Julie) and Roger Carmicheal (Deb); her grandchildren, Billy Barnhart (Tammie), Mike Barnhart (Sandra), Paula Jordan, Karen Clark-Losinski (Ron Borton), Shelley Jacob (Chad), Amy Leatherman (Marc), Alecia Hudson (Joel) and Erika Katon (Larry); and her sister Clara Caldwell.

In lieu of flowers, family requests any memorials be made to Common Grace Ministries Friendship Connection, Noble County Public Library Avilla Branch or a charity of the donor's choice.
