He was predeceased by: his parents, Grover Deaton and Ida Deaton (Sourlock); and his sister Wilma Deaton. He is survived by: his spouse Beverly Jean Deaton (Ponder); his children, Ginger Lee Stollings of Crothersville, Sherry Moore of Austin, Richard Mark Deaton of Navarre and Wilford Scott Deaton of Scottsburg; his sister Nancy Guynn; and also Lincoln. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren.
