Vernon Hollan Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Vernon Hollan of Austin, Indiana, who passed away on December 6, 2023 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Mansfield Hollan and Elizabeth Hollan (Hensley); his wife Edna McIntosh; and his siblings, Robert, Russell, Billy Ray, Dorothy Noble, Betty Deaton, Golden Gross, Orine Turner, Della Barger Donnell and Martha Deaton Bautista.

He is survived by: his children, Phyllis Klaber (Ralph) of Florence, KY., Gary Hollan (Brenda) of Sellersburg, IN. and Lois Bukowski (Joie) of Seymour, IN.; his brothers, Glenn Hollan (Lois) of Austin and Charlie Hollan of Scottsburg, Indiana.; and his grandchildren, Heather Fowee (James) of Fort Mitchell, KY., Gary Micah Hollan of Jeffersonville, IN., Ryan Bukowski (Michelle) of Nashville, TN. and Jason Bukowski (Andi) of Seymour, IN..

The Hollans were also instrumental in developing Manaugh Memorial Park in Austin by donating some of the land used for the park.
