It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Shirley Ann Gabbard of Austin, Indiana, born in Tupelo, Mississippi, who passed away on July 10, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Charles "Chuck" Gabbard; her parents, Needam Howard and Lucille Howard (Nichols); her sons, James Matthew "Matt" Wesson and Charles Richard "Rick" Gabbard; her granddaughter Tonya Wesson; and her siblings, Mary Edwards, Martha Sue Cantrell and Wesley Howard.
She is survived by: her son Donnie Wesson of Jeffersonville, IN; her grandchildren, Jason Wesson, Justice Gabbard and Carsen Gabbard; and her great grandchild Joseph Wesson.
