He was predeceased by: his father John Smith Jr.; and his sister Sharon K. LaMaster. He is survived by: his mother Bobbie Jean Smith (Daniel); his wife Debbie S. Smith (Barger) of Austin, IN; his son Jonathan T. Smith of Austin, IN; his granddaughter Isabella R. Campbell; his parents-in-law, Taylor and Carolyn Barger; and his sisters-in-law, Shelia Terrell (Larry), Kelly Barger (Jeff Helton) and Sandra Johnson (Shannon Scott). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
