She was predeceased by: her parents, Theo Rice and Lola Rice; her husband Bobby Buckner; and her siblings, Arthur, Ecie, Raymond Helton, Priscilla Helton Coomer and Margie Helton Hurst.
She is survived by: her sisters, Evelyn Rice Christenberry of Bloomington, Brenda Sue Rice Begley of Bloomington, Nancy Carol Bowling of Austin and Gladys Helton. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
