She was predeceased by: her parents, Hubert Albert Buchanan and Mary Evelyn Buchanan (Smith); her siblings, James Buchanan, Father Don Buchanan and Jonell Buchanan; and her nephew Tom Buchanan.
She is survived by: her brother Hubert Buchanan (Lauren) of Amherst; her nieces and nephews, Janie Alexander, J. D., Terri Buchanan, Richie, Susan Buchanan, Jerry Buchanan, Ashley Magidson, Jennifer, Alfonzo Buchanan-Gonzalez, Lindsay Buchanan, Chris and Amanda Buchanan; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Allison, Matt Bridgewater, Michael Buchanan, Daniel Alexander, Cassidy Buchanan, Cameron McNeely, Rylie Buchanan, Abigail, Alexander Magidson, Saoirse, Julian, Devon Buchanan, Jackson and Evelyn Buchanan; and also, Oaklynn and Lynna Bridgewater.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 19th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Buchanan Funeral Home (115 N 2nd St, Austin, IN 47102).
In Lieu of Flowers the family requests donations to Austin High School Academic Competition Endowment Fund at the Scott Co. Community Foundation in care of Buchanan Funeral Home, 115 North Second Street, Austin, Indiana 47102.
