He is survived by: his children, Kristopher Sandlin, Emily Harris, Kaitlin Sandlin and Kelsi Sandlin; his siblings, Jim Barger (Pam), Coleman Sandlin, Tina Coyle (Pat), Tamera Ivey and Ollie Sandlin; and his partner's children, Kyle Walker and Cierra Shepherd.
