In the sacred silence of farewell, Louise is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Louise's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Pleas Turner and Elizabeth Turner; her husband Oakley Turner; and her son Christopher "Crit" Turner. She is survived by: her daughter Andrea Gabbard; her son-in-law Charles of Austin; her sister Georgia Riley of Morrisfork; and her grandchildren, Heather Gabbard (Aaron), Steve Turner, Jason Turner and Brent Turner. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Buchanan Funeral Home (115 N 2nd St, Austin, IN 47102). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
