She was predeceased by: her parents, Doc Campbell and Vergie Campbell (Gly); and her husband Elijah Vires Sr.. She is survived by: her children, Patricia Thompson (Craig) of Charlestown, Indiana, Elijah Vires, Jr. of Austin, Indiana, Victor Vires of Little York, Indiana and Robert Vires (Donna) of Austin, Indiana; and her siblings, Clayton White of Austin, Indiana, Louetta Bowling (Tom) of Austin, Indiana, Louella Gardner of Scottsburg, Indiana and Luvennia Sheckell (Harold) of Scottsburg, Indiana.. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren.
